Cara Seting Edimax EW-7438RPn,jual EW-7438RPn 325rb

 
Apakah anda mengalami? Koneksi broadband anda letakkan di sudut rumah, kemudian pada saat anda ingin mengakses koneksi tersebut sambil bersantai ria di empuknya tempat tidur anda, #oopppsss device anda tidak dapatkan signal dari Wi-Fi. :( Pastinya anda geram bukan.
Tipikal contoh lainnya adalah, 1 buah bangunan ruko 3 lantai yang bagus, tentunya setiap lantai dibuat dengan kokohnya. Karena SMB (Small Medium Businesses) tentunya tidak menggunakan koneksi FO (Fiber Optic) antar lantai, dan ribet juga apabila harus menggunakan kabel (LAN) ke setiap lantai. Bagaimana caranya men-share koneksi Internet yang dimiliki?
Dipasaran, tidak semua Wi-Fi menjual router extender (penguat signal)-nya. Untuk keluarga Apple, yang bisa berfungsi sebagai extender adalah Airport Express. Sedangkan merek lainnya menggunakan extender sesuai dengan brand tersebut. Bagaimana kalau ternyata brand yang kita inginkan tidak memiliki (baca: menjual) extender? Dulu, pilihannya hanya mengganti ke Wi-Fi yang menjual extender, akan tetapi sekarang tidak lagi demikian. Kenapa? Karena telah hadir universal Wi-Fi extender. :)

Wi-Fi extender Edimax ini, memiliki dimensi yang mungil, dengan cara kerja tinggal colok ke listrik (stop-kontak), selama dia masih bisa mendapatkan signal Wi-Fi yang telah kita tentukan maka signal tersebut akan diperkuat.

Paket pembeliannya hanya termasuk 1 buah CD ukuran khusus (tidak bisa menggunakan slot-in Optical Drive), buku manual, 1 buah kabel LAN OEM, serta unit EW-7438RPn yang memiliki switch ON-OFF.

Test singkat yang telah kami lakukan adalah, kekuatan pancar Wi-Fi router di lt. 2 ruko kami, sengaja kami set ke paling minimum, di lt. 1 masih bisa mendapatkan signal Wi-Fi sekitar 1 bar (full 5 bars).
Kami lakukan pengukuran sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan EW-7438RPn. Hasilnya di device BB adalah sebagai berikut:

Karena penasaran, kami melakukan test kembali menggunakan iPad. Sayang belum di jailbreak sehingga pengukuran hanya berdasarkan graphic kekuatan signal Wi-Fi.

Terbukti yang tadinya hanya 1 bar, menjadi full 5 bars. :D senangnya hatiku. Jadi cara kerja penguat (repeater) itu kurang lebih adalah seperti ini:

Jadi terlintas ingin iseng, mungkin kalau kita sedang jalan-jalan kemana, kemudian menemukan open hotspot, dengan signal antara ada dan tiada, kenapa tidak kita perkuat saja menggunakan EW-7438RPn ya? Misal di hotel, dimana hotspot area hanya di area Lobby Hotel. *hehehe*


Perhatian :  Penguat Edimax ini hanya dapat di setting menggunakan Internet Explorer (IE) atau Mozilla FireFox di Windows… tidak bisa menggunakan Safari / Chrome.  Kemudian untuk mengaksesnya dilakukan dengan memasukkan url http://extenderXXXXXX (xxxxxx = 6 huruf terakhir dari MAC address extender).

Concurrent Dual-Band Wi-Fi Connectivity
The Edimax BR-6435nD provides simultaneous 2.4GHz and 5GHz wireless network connectivity for maximum flexibility of use. This router allows users to use general network applications like web surfing via the 2.4GHz bandwidth and stream HD video and other media through the 5GHz bandwidth at the same time.
iQ Setup
iQ Setup is a smart feature of Edimax routers that allows even the most inexperienced users to set up an Edimax router quick and effortlessly. After the appropriate cable connections are made, all you need to do is to open your iPhone or computer’s web browser and iQ Setup will start detecting your Internet connection type automatically. Wireless 802.11n Standard (data rates up to 300Mbps)
The Edimax BR-6435nD is a high-speed solution that complies with IEEE 802.11a/b/g/n standards.
